If you want to have Sales/Traffic Reports on paper - you may upload them from your Google Analitycs account

It depends on the type of file you have. However, I think it is better to enter data in excel because it is the easiest application. I like working in excel when it comes to calculations and entering statistics. However, I wouldn't say I like PowerPoint and word as much; these programs are pretty easy to use, but they lack sophisticated features.
