Mail service settings

Hello,
I would like to inform you that I received my complete custom store yesterday . To understand few settings as a beginner, as I changed the email addresses from word press admin panel “Mail service settings” to get the Purchase email notification, ‘Contact us’ form settings notification, Order shipped’ notification, Customer account creation notification and Order tracking ID changed notification in different web mail instead of my personal email address (miah.salahuddin@live.iium.edu.my) which was set in the system.



After changing these email addresses when I clicked the test button to check whether working or not. Then an error message is showing “Error: SMTP Error: could not authenticate.”

Also I found a problem like authentication error when I go to the new customer registration option.



So could you please check this issue and set the company domain email which I created (orders.info@click2cartz.com) to get Purchase email notification, ‘Contact us’ form settings notification, Order shipped’ notification, Order tracking ID changed notification and (customer.registration@click2cartz.com) to get Customer account creation notification.

1. For starters, what plugin? Original or Woo?

2. What "Mail Service" are you talking about? SMPT run from plugin like "WP Mail SMPT"? If you have not got one, install one.

3. If it is a SMPT plugin, have you entered the correct hostname (usually https://yoursite.com), Username (Usually your site's email like support@yoursite.com that you set up in cPanel) and password (Setup in Email Accounts in the cPanel).
