Magic: The Gathering is getting a cinematic universe!

Thank you for reminding me about Magic: The Gathering, there's been a bit of news I wanted to share for some time, but it was slipping away from me. Magic: The Gathering is getting a cinematic universe!

So that's a piece of good news for all the fans of the popular card game. Do we have any fans of it here, by the way? I tried it a few times back when I was in school, but it did not catch on for me. Though I did not have a good group of peers back then...

But wait, there is more! Netflix is also making a series based on Magic: The Gathering! Maybe it will work out well, as it did for Arcane (though I did like the first season more than the second one, personally). So we may even get to see Battle of the Giants: Legendary Entertainment and Hasbro Entertainment or Netflix: who makes a better adaptation? Either way, something to look forward to!

I found that a custom playmat makes a big difference for keeping cards organized and protected during longer games. I ordered one from custom playmat and the quality really impressed me, nice thick material and the print came out sharp. It’s become my go‑to for every Commander night, and the sizing fits my table perfectly.
