Left menu configuration

How do I edit the left menu. I have search but the kb is not helpful. Can you please point me to information that shows how the left menu is configured. My HOMe page shows categories that at not related to my niche for example costumes, toys etc.
I have edited the categories but my menu still shows the wrong products. I have checked in the menu but I am unable to locate anything to suggests a secondary menu....assistance please.

Go to wordpress admin dashboard > Appearance > Menu

There are 5 menus, edit them and see how they are configured.

Please go to Appearance —> Menus, select a menu to edit, then click "Manage with Live Preview" (at the top of the page), select Main Menu —> click Add Items, then add items from the menu on the right – Categories.
