I just made my first sale after a few months of having my site up... haven't been doing a lot of promotion and kind of forgot about it.

But seriously ... hit Google and Youtube up and start studying how to make better advertising campaigns and the best place to advertise. e.g Instagram shoutouts, Facebook, Adwords, Bing etc.

Just advertise with Google shopping its gold I wouldn't even try anything else. Master Google shopping then try something else but dont do them all at once.

When i take a look at google shopping for the stuff i am selling it is super saturated. Plus the prices on there are something i cannot hit so i dont know how these people have such low pricing unless they are only making just a couple of dollars

You need to expand the possibilities a little. Even Instagram shoutouts alone would outdo Google Shopping for a niche store.

You're right ... but don't discount it entirely. Use it to advertise a single cool and unique item with a low price which will bring people to your site, and hopefully they may buy other things. If not now ... but later.
