Same here with most of our sites. Major issue please fix asap.
When click on a variation on product page the 50x50 size isn't removing from URL. So on mobile version (on some templates) it is showing the 50x50 image instead of the full sized version. This is resulting in a very low quality image shown on mobile only.
The attachment shows how it looks like when clicked on a variation on mobile version.

Yeah I can confirm, variation images work like they want on mobile. Sometimes show normal, sometimes 50x50 resized to the window.
