I just bought a theme from themeforest that has good rating and high sales but it turned so crappy and buggy, I got a refund..

Can anyone recommend a good and tested woocommerce theme ?

Flatsome is by far better than taking a trial.....I use it regularly for my customers in designing websites
Aside that, you can try other multipurpose theme like Divi

Yep Flatsome is awesome. Tons of options but you definitely have to put some effort in to setting it up right.
