Do you mean the cache issue in the woo version?
I mean if is cache is enable . In the first time load a page , the gift box stay in the store default currency. (After you select something else in the page for is reload again, currency of the store and gift box be the same )
I am locate to Europe so when I visited my site in incognito mode ,my website currency is on euro but my gift box is on usa , then when I reload the page the gift box follow my store currency to euro us well.
Check it out PLEASE because is not fix yet.

In case currency doesn't change automatically on your website in Gift Box add-on, please, provide me with your WP-admin access details and we will check, what might be wrong.
