Davinci theme Widgets

looking at the weekly updates in this theme are you considering anytime soon to add widgets to this theme? it's the only missing option to make it a very good theme.

I just use plugins that use shortcodes I can insert straight into the theme files for the time being.

Lots of them ... just read the descriptions or Installation notes and they usually mention if they have shortcodes, widgets or both. I'm using several plugins for different things. Like replacing the phone number with a Skype popup link, extra Social like buttons, etc.

For example ... I used a Slider plugin for the main page and just pasted the short code [metaslider id=107] into the home.php file. (Replacing the code for the main image that was there) You have to put these short codes inside some php like this <?php echo do_shortcode('[metaslider id=107]');?> ... then paste it in between a <div>....</div> somewhere.
