Currency Switch Widget

Hello, i just have a simple question about Currency Switch widget there is any short code to add it on header ? because i didn't have option in theme to add widget on header only short code and html code, also after customer add the product to cart and move to check out currency back to appears with default currency USD is that normal ? and thanks for great option and support
