Chrome extension not authorised

I seem to be having an issue with the Chrome extension not authorizing, if I click to authorize, it just ends up on my home page with no option to authorize the extension, I think this may be causing an issue with my imports showing as never completing.
Any help would be gratefully received.

Fixed it!! Had to delete the url and add it again.

Nope, it's still playing up, now although it has authorized, it will not change to 'on'

It's ON when there is some process is happening, like import for example.

I understand that but after more investigation it seems to be losing the authorization randomly and I will have to go through the auth process again.
