Can there ever be too much competition for a product?

Thinking about a new niche product category. Looking at others doing it and there are many big ones who are doing it creating videos that get millions of views. I do not have a budget for that.

Will the competition be too hard?

Is there a place for the little guy?

Is trying to sell a product products in a niche where others are doing huge numbers in visitor likes and views worth it?

Is it better to look for a niche/products a little out of the way with good numbers but without massive gorillas doing something similar?
