Bizarre & Outrageous !

Hi all,

I wanted to purchase a battery for my HP laptop so I figured let me first check with AliExpress.
And because no-one would believe me I made a screen capture of what I saw!!!

This is completely nonsensical and ridiculous!



Are they insane?

I ended up ordering my battery from a local shop for 19.00€ + 2.95€ shipping.

Unbelievable.
A two way airline ticket from Athens to China is about $400!

I've indeed sometimes seen shipping costs being a multiple of the item cost, but this is definitely the next level

It's obviously a mistake by the seller. A "typo". I'd just send them a quick note advising them of it.

$1.051,58 should've been $10,51? Before pressing [submit] he added 2 more random numbers?
But I guess you are right, I suppose even our Chinese friends wouldn't be so obnoxious to sell an item for $20 with another $1000 worth of shipping.

I don't know ... just kicking around possibilities. He may even be a complete scamming bastard and he's doing it on purpose, hoping that people just "click, click, click" and don't notice it. Then when they DO notice and complain, he just says ... "Well the shipping price WAS displayed and you DID accept it".

But really ... I don't think so. He wouldn't stay in business very long doing that ... LOL

It's probably just a glitch. I'd still mention it to the seller though.
