Some do some dont. I hate having that much time off of NHL action, point blank, I was angry last year by the four nation tourney, i was annoyed by the olympic break this year.
HOWEVER
Four nations grabbed me reluctantly. It was not just entertaining, it was wildly so. Looking forward to it again.
The Olympics are fantastic, womens hockey included. USA made a miracle comeback and beat Canada. Mens, canada and USA came within an eyelash of being knocked out before the medal round. Most games are close, almost all have something worthy. I didnt want to like it but I really am having a fun time with it.
Still love curling, so does the wife. Dont give a damn how much we get teased about it, lol.
But seriously four nations and Olympics are a thousand times better than the all star game snooze fest. Not even close. One huge thing that I enjoy is having 3 to 4 games almost every week for my favorite teams all year as they have to force the games into a smaller schedule with 3 weeks off for the olympics. Gotta love that too. OverAll i am surprised that it has worked out quite well for me as a fan. I wish that Russia was in the Olympics, I get it, believe me I really do but I wiah they were there afterall. Would love to have seen Ovie repping his country in the worlds biggest sweepstakes this time.
