Anyone doing email marketing for your store?

I'm just curios, is anyone here doing email marketing? What results are you getting, whic software are you using?

I use the free Sendpress newsletter plugin ... and a few promotional images around the site offering a 25% discount if they subscribe to the newsletter. I used to have a popup, but now Google is penalising sites that use annoying popups on mobile sites ... and seeing as 80% of people access the web via mobile .. I killed the popups. I'll be sending off the newsletters monthly with the latest products and a promotional discount.

As for how it's going ... too early to say yet.
