Activating License error

I'm trying to activating the license and each time I'm getting this error:
Could not connect cURL error 35: Peer reports incompatible or unsupported protocol version.

Can somebody help me with this error?

Hello, doomz009!

You probably use iPage Hosting. They have outdated cURL libraries (7.22.0).
You should contact iPage support with request to update their cURL library to the latest version.

Thank you for your reply. I'm not using iPage ... I installed WP manually using VPS hosting (Plesk on Centos)

So then, you have to configure cURL manually.
