catagory menu

Hi, After changing the category names from "Category 1 through 8", to my own category names, nothing is showing under the category section on the main page as shown in the image attached. I'm using "Da Vinci 2.0 Woo" as my theme. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I would like to disable the number of products showing up in the category menu. Please see attached image...
