Automatically generating SEO meta tags

Hello,

My online store is using Wordpress 6.8.2 and AliDropShip 1.9.2.5 plugin and I am having difficulty in generating meta tags. I have specified meta tag for home page, product and category page but meta tags are not added to the page. If I enable SEO meta data fields then meta fields at individual page level starts displaying. Not sure if I am doing anything wrong.

Automatically generating SEO meta tags can save time, but it is not a complete solution on its own.

From my experience, tools like AliDropship can create meta titles and descriptions at scale, which is helpful for large stores. However, these are often too generic and may miss important keywords or user intent.

What works better for me:
• I use auto generated tags as a starting point
• I manually optimize key pages like best selling products and categories
• I make sure each title and description is unique and relevant

Automation is great for efficiency, but rankings improve when you refine important pages.

I follow a mindset similar to how I approach seo for medical companies, focusing on quality, intent, and uniqueness rather than relying fully on automation.
