AliDropship 1.0 RC 4 UPDATE:

- Auto update - how to set it up :

To authorize AliDropship Google Chrome extension on your site:

Open your site -> log in your admin area -> click AliDropship Google Chrome extension icon -> ‘Log in’. Or add site manually using ‘Website’ field.



Enter your login and password -> click ‘Log In’:



Click ‘Authorize’:





Click AliDropship Google Chrome extension icon and you’ll see a green circle confirming that authorization is completed.



Don’t click ‘Log Out’ if you don’t want to authorize everytime you open your site.

Go to AliDropship -> AliExpress -> Updates.

Set auto update’s interval: once daily, once weekly or once monthly.



The auto updating is getting processed only when your Google Chrome browser is opened. Only in this case there is a connection between your site and AliDropship Google Chrome extension.

- Bug with price on Homepage and Product category page is fixed.
- Bug with payment gateway notification is fixed (If client paid with Paypal there was a wrong notification before : via Credit Card)

When I click on log in after "Open site -> log in admin area -> click AliDropship Google Chrome extension icon -> add site manually using ‘Website’ field, it goes to my website on a new tab and shows 404 Page not found. (https://mydomain.com/oauth1/extension

My AliDropship version is 1.0 RC 3.2 and AliDropship Google Chrome Extension is ver. 2.5.9.4

What could be wrong..? Please advise.

you need to update alidropship plugin too

So is it that I have to deactivate Version 1.0 RC 3.2, delete and then upload this "alids_first_ion_php5.6+ v1.0 RC 4" file?

getting the same error 404 Page not found

plugin and extension updated AliDropship version is 1.0 RC 4 and Chrome Extension ver. 2.5.9.4

You need to update your plugin to the latest version. RC4, it is attached to this thread.

All these changes are sooo confusing and fiddly to so many people.... I wish we could have the auto-update for plugin and themes.

The update for Chrome is simple enough by selecting the Extension and then choose update from the top menu.

I totally agree with you. It's becoming increasingly necessary to have an ICT diploma to carry out the business. :p

Especially if not a forum member because when would I have known there'd been an update!:mad:

Auto updates would cut down customer support times, so def one for support team to look into with next updates
