Where to get free stock images

Hey guys,

as the title already suggests I'm looking for stock images without spending tons of dollars/euros. Better even for free.
It's mainly for facebook fan page (profile and background pic), instagram and social media postings in general.
Which sources do you use? Did you have any problems by just taking images you found on google?

Thanks, Pixabay is indeed a good source for pics. I found also unsplash.com to have good images.

There might be a problem for images of people though. You want them to be "authentic" which means good quality yet not too much looking like stock images. You might need this for about us page and maybe for fake Facebook accounts ;)

I found Tinder to have the perfect images :D It's a little bit of an unholy trick but you can use images which don't reveal 100% of the face, i.e. with sunglasses, face from the side.
