Questions for up and running stores.

I just wanted to ask anyone that has a store up and running or soon will how you let customers know (or plan too) that if they order multiple items that they may arrive separately in different parcels and on different days? do you just keep this info in the shipping info area or do you put it out in other areas as well? also how do you word it.

I want to put a creative spin on it without giving to much away or turning customers off.

How about just saying that you have many departments around the world and closer departments (to their location) ran out of items so you are sending it from other factory or something.
Simple and shouldn't raise any flags.
