New to dropshipping_need some help

Hi everyone,

I'm new to dropshipping community and recently bought alidropship plugin.

Can somebody please help me with,

1. How the email notification are handled in ali plugin, do i need to install some app . like example, if a customer orders something how I send him order confirmed, order shipped mails etc. with domain extention mail id.
2. is shipping cost to be included in price formula? if yes how can i know how much cost to conside, coz customer may be from different parts of world.
3. can anyone share me a walkthrough /steps, how to create a free+shipping landing page, like " share this on ur facebook and get it free". what are the plugins required.

Hi there Comely! Welcome.

1. Customers get notification when you have everything set up.
To set it up, take a look here: https://alidropship.com/codex/email-notifications-setup/
Choose 1 of the 5 options, or just use your own SMTP

2. You can add your own shipping costs that are apart from the price you are paying for a product. Products prices can be set with formula.

3. You will have to look within WordPress plugin list for creating landing pages, there are tons of them:

Hi Kevgl,

I have set up email notification with SMTP setting from hostgator mail.

But I am seeing this problem, when a mail is sent, recipient receives the mail like,

"no-reply@mydomain.com via gator3269.hostgator.com"

Can u please help me how to remove this via info.

Also mails are going directly to spam.

I personally would not use a shared hosting provider to send emails to my customers. I would use a company like SendGrid to relay the email to the customer. Too many issues with customers not receiving emails when you go to customer direct from shared hosting provider in my opinion. Also SendGrid is much more secure as they send email for a living, its their whole entire business.

Be careful with popups that offer promotions. Google frowns on this and it could affect your search rankings.
