I'm not convinced. The name itself does not conjure up any ideas of what it's about, apart from "gold". It's violating the number one rule in domain name creation. i.e, make it something that instantly lets people know what it's about without doing further research into it.
Rather than starting with a domain name and trying to match a niche or products to it, it's more logical and efficient to spend $14 or so on a new domain name to match your niche.
I have about 6 domain names for niches that did not work out for one reason or another and the last thing on my mind is to try and sell them. Why bother? It's not really much money. It's like selling your second hand used shoes. Just throw them in the rubbish or give them to charity. If anyone out there wanted any of the old unused domains I have, I'd give them away for free.
But you never know ... someone out there may absolutely love your second hand domain name and give you heaps of money for it. After all, "There's sucker born every minute" lol
