A trick for someone who wants to remove Payment or Delivery methods icons at the template

Greettings to everyone. I spend enough time to solve this issue . I am calling it issue cause in my case at my ecommerce i want to accept at the beginning only visa or master card payments for one reason. Paypal holding your funds for 21 days if you don't have a history of 10.000 USD sales in your account .

What does it mean? Let's say an item from china has 40 days shipping time for Russia. What are you going to tell at your customer? That he has to wait for 21 days for paypal to unlease the money he paid at you and then about 2-5 bussines days of order processing time and then another 40 days shipping time to get his product? That's making us 66 days of waiting & we gonna lose him as a customer UNLESS you got a big start capital like 1500 dollars in your bank account and you can handle it by paying on your own the product at AliExpress for your customer and then just wait for Paypal to unlease your money after 21 days or 14 days if you have entered a tracking number.

I choosed to be a dropshipper cause it is a job that can make you ritch if you really do a responsibilty work without havving a big cappital somewhere in your bank. And guess what ? I do not have this cappital so what i am gonna do is to accepting only visa & master card payments at the start of my ecommerce and after some months or 1 year when finaly i can have a capital in my bank from the profits then i am going to unlease a Paypal payment method in my ecommerce site.

If you think that most people prefers to pay with paypal and not with a credit card then you must think it again. Here are the poll's results of what kind of payment method online do the American people prefer to choose for buying their products at 2016

I found that the commands are reading the payment & delivery methods small icons from the cpanel where all your worpdress site has been installed. Soon i will release a second guide about how you can add your own icons at the Payment & Delivery methods and also at the section about us where it says with wich payment & delivery methods we are partners

New Guide For Changing the Payment & Delivery Method Icons In The Footer Theme & In The About Us Page:

Here are the default commands and the changes you have to do are in the red boxes:

How do i create the right size of the delivery method icons & where do i upload them so i can insert the name of the image inside the command? :

Save to your desktop this image from here:

Let's say you have 4 different delivery methods like me. Go to http://resizeimage.net/ and upload each image for each delivery method you have . For each image you have to go at the section 4 where it says Resize your image. There you will find 3 boxes wich are saying :
100% 500 x 500 px . Leave the first box as it is at 100%. then insert 45 x 29 px .UNCHECK the Keep Aspect Ratio box. Then go at the end and press the resize image button and save your icons.

After all that go open your windows paint. There open the image that your saved to your desktop from this link i gave you here https://postimg.org/image/5glmdeavt/ . You can see the grey background layer with the 4 small icons i use. Replace each icon with your icon you have resized here http://resizeimage.net/ and saved at your desktop . If you have more then 4 delivery method icons for example 5 just add one more next to the others. If you have less than 4 delivery method icons for example 3 just select the gray background layer with the tool and cover the 4th icon .Then save your image as jpeg file not as png cause the png type of images are cutting the speed of your loading page in your site and name it for example: all delivery icons at one.

Now go to your cpanel . At my cause i use cpanel hosting of Yaros so i will give you the infos how to do it there. I do not know if you are using a different hosting cpanel and if the ui there is different of mine. Once you loged in your cpanel go to File Manager and then follow the path:
public_html / wp-content / themes / davinci / img / payments.
There inside the payments file press the upload button at the top select the image you saved as all delivery icons at one.jpg and then go back again at the payments file. You will find there inside the image you uploaded . Right click on the image, rename , select all the name all delivery icons at one and the press copy . Once you did that go at
your site and in the dashboard select appearance then editor then Davinci: Theme Footer (footer.php) at the right of you screen. Where it says under the delivery methods
<img src="<?php echo get_template_directory_uri(); ?>/img/about/Delivery methods 45_29 all 4 icons at one.jpg?1000" change the green text with the name of your image for example:

Click the blue button update file and go refresh your page and see the results.

Now let's see how can you change those icons:

Then follow the same way of resizing your images but this time use for each image 220x120 px and replace each image are in the boxes of the main picture you downloaded above with yours and save it with a name you want at your desktop. For example all partner icons at one.jpg

Go to your cpanel , File Manager and then follow the path:
public_html / wp-content / themes / davinci / img / about.
Inside the about you will find some other images . There inside do the same thing you did before for the other path and and copy the name of your image you uploaded there inside all partner icons at one.jpg .

Now to replace this go at your site , dashboard , appearance, and at the right of your screen select Davinci: page-about-us.php .
There inside your will already find this command

Change the green text to all partner icons at one.jpg

(You can also change the 2 Texts above the image command too.)

Do not forget to keep a backup of the whole default text somewhere again . Press the blue button update file and go refresh your page to see the results.


At the end of all keep a backup too of the about-us text with your changes inside and the footer.php with your changes inside cause every time there is an update of the template everything comes back to default and you have to change the default texts again to apply your icons.

Thanks for the tutorial. I am also going to do this. I don't want to get hold back by these things at startup also! Maybe i will add it in the future if i can find a workaround for it.

@GreekDropshiper hey buddy. i need some help regarding payment gateway integration.. I need to install other payment gateway like razorpay.com, its popular here in india. But yaros and team said that it cant be integrated in store. So is there any way that it can be integrated instead of 2checkout or payu..?

I believe you cannot do that unless you have an access to Yaros' checkout page where it store the function to CURL to payment gateways. Unfortunately, all codes are encrypted for security reason for the plugin and you can do nothing about it.

As neeraj89 said Unfortunately, all codes are encrypted for security reason for the plugin and you can do nothing about it..
In this thread i am just guiding you to change the payment icons that are associated only with the payment gateways that yaros is providing not with other.

That ONLY applies to sellers on eBay. NOT if you are using your own site/store as we are here.

As for the rest ...Forget about all that stuff above ... just untick "Payment Methods" and "Delivery Methods" in Customization / Footer. This will make them disappear.

If you want to have the payment and/or delivery options but use your your own icons ... just edit the payments.png file in your-theme/img/main...then upload it via FTP.

Here .... I just changed the Western Union icon for a Stripe icon.
Much simpler. :)

Do you have your own webstore site with a PAYPAL BUSINESS ACCOUNT and they do not hold your funds for 21 DAYS???? I am asking you cause before i write whatever i wrote here i talked with someone from paypal via phone and they told me even if you have your own store outside of ebay , and you want to create a business paypal account , paypal will hold your founds for 21 days . Tell me your experiance . Do you use paypal business account and haven't they hold your funds never for 21 days at your own webstore? Thank you .

Have you been at ebay as a dropshiper with very high feedback and a business paypal account? If yes, then did you use your business paypal account you already used at ebay at your webstore?

Like I said ... it only applies to eBay sellers ... unless you have a past bad history with eBay. But I've seen some stories of some people with private sites getting funds withheld. I guess there are other factors involved ... but the general consensus on the web is that they don't withold for private sites ... unless there is some factor or problem that causes them to do so to some.
