I recommend doing Wordpress files and dabatase backup. I use UpdraftPlus to do backups.

Always make a backup before you update or do anything of these kind of changes. If something happens you can just put the backup back and go from there. An hour ago i updated and nothing was lost. I have all my images, text, products and everything showing up like normal, no problems here.

I had to uninstall the plugin Autoptimize because it broke some of the functions on the website. Unfortunately the Insight score got lower than before but i think it still is pretty good. I get 74/100 for mobile speed, 99/100 for mobile user experience and desktop 90/100.
