Yes you can use Alidropship Woo for websites over 1000+ products. The problem is about CPU usage and high database load. I believe @Mar is using Woo and that website has over 1500+ products, still doing fine

Sadly, no. 3 days ago was Saturday, support team doesn't work on Weekends. If you want to speedup the process, always give them them all the data to save time in case they reply and ask for those information, which lead to more waiting time.

Yeah it happened to me a couple of times, sometimes the links to the images on Aliexpress were broken during the importation, so you can try reimport them and see if it works

Those images are broken, you can try delete and re-import those products
