Social Rabbit Facebook Error

Hi, i had the same problem yesterday and i solved the problem (i think). You need to go to the facebook app, and make sure that the space of "privacy policy of your website" its not empty. Then just save the app changes, and return to the social rabbit settings, and re-login. You will receive the message of "Internal Server Error", but i supouse that the plugin will start to work again. In my case that worked (until now), i dont know if this can help you.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something here but by "privacy policy of your website" do you mean this? Because I've already enabled it before.FB Probelm2.png

in that case im not sure, im my case that worked. I didnt have that part completed, i just completed that space of privacy policy url, and then i saved the changes. That worked in my case.

However, since the last update a i have a lot of problems with the plugin. For example right now i cannot use instagram, its deactivated and i dont know why. The plugin cant read my login info of instagram.

its completed the part of "products > open session with facebook > settings" ??.... Look at here the steps 4 and 5: https://socialrabbitplugin.com/codex/1-how-to-create-the-app-for-facebook/

Because now i remeber one time i got the same message and was because i forgot to complete that part, the steps 4 and 5, i didnt put the redirection url there.
You mean this? It's one of the first thing I've done when creating the facebook app. Social rabbit worked fine before but this thing started happening after the latest update. I don't know if I messed something up or if it has to do with the update.

Hi,

I posted a solution to my problem in this thread: https://forum.alidropship.com/threads/social-rabbit-valid-oauth-redirect-uris.5137/

Since March facebook forced the use of SSL, so the website must be working on HTTPS.

I installed SocialRabbit, only after I changed website to SSL.

SoccialRabbit could not conect to facebook with a message warning I had to use HTTPS.

The url being passe to facebook was with http://mydomain. I changed all setting to https:\\mydomain.

After hour analysing I discovered that website original URL (http://mydomain) stayed write in DATABASE, in OPTION table, row with OPTION_NAME = 'sr-settings'.

I used phpMyAdmin from CPanel do make the changes. Be careful to maintain all the information corret. I sugest you make a backup of this long data field.

There I changed the referente of http:// to https://.

After, I put in login facebook app, Redicet OAuth, simply https://mydomain.com/.

If you install socialrabbit before change to HTTS, this record keep the old information (HTTP://). Doen'st matter if you unstall and install again.

Observe URL passed by social rabbit : https:\\thedronix.com\wp-admin\admin.php?social=facebook (please verify all url).

This URL should be here:

You can use this field to verify if this URL is working:

I've created two diferent aplications, one for login facebook e other to SocialRabbit.

*UPDATE*
Just got an email reply from the alidropship team. Apparently there's some problem with the facebook API and currently trying to fix it. Let just hope everything will go back to normal after that.
